this was the infamous "The DOJD presents The Christmas Carol" show, the second of their annual christmas pageants. for this one, instead of the previous years somewhat compact nativity scene, they opted for a site specific play utilizing both the first floor and basement of Dead Birds. i played the part of Bob Cratchit, performed a Lola.5 song with the lyrics rewritten to be about Santa Claus, and wrote a callsheet. you can find the video of it here. Roseheath and Fibbing also performed conventional sets of music.

i had absolutely no intention of going to this, i was at a friends house when Sasha (Moa) called and told us to come by and watch her set. being a block away from Dead Birds at the time there was no reason not to. this particular live set featured Sasha on bass, as well as Mini of Cold Court on guitar and keyboards and Val of valentinesday on vocals. i left afterwards as i was extremely spent from the aformentioned Christmas Carol production the previous day.

pulled up for Scrimblo, who always seem slightly out of place in an atmosphere as collegiate as this. i managed to both video and photograph their set by handing the video camera off to my friend Kate for a bit in the middle, so thanks to her.
